A thorough, thoughtful, and truly professional doctor and staff. I was finally given a diagnoses after 15+ years of struggles and being misunderstood by all others. My life is now better than ever. I'm a mom to a beautiful baby boy, I am successful in my field of work, and most importantly, mentally healthier than ever before! Thank you Dr. Sherk, Shelley, Monica, and your whole staff!

I visited Dr Sherk for over a year, telling him each week I was not improving, and getting worse. He made no changes, even when I suggested alternative treatments, he made no effort to help me look into them or discuss them. He does not care for his patients, he just gives you 10 mins of his time and then keeps you on the same meds as before. His office has no idea how to talk to people who are actually mentally ill. Do not waste your money, do not waste your time. Do not walk, RUN away from this doctor and company.

I’m done with A Child and Family Psychiatry. On September 3rd I called the office to get my prescriptions refilled and was told by the secretary it would take 2 business days to process, so I waited 2 business days, and I still didn’t have my prescriptions. So, I called the office and asked the secretary about my prescriptions, and she gave me a passive-aggressive response and said she would “file for my refills AGAIN”.I’m not the type to push buttons so I waited, and a whole week passed with my prescriptions unfilled. So, I called the office again on the status of my prescriptions and I was told there were no logs of me ever calling. At this point, I was very frustrated and told the secretary that I’ve been without my prescriptions for almost 2 weeks and would like to speak with Dr. Sherk. She responds by saying Dr. Sherk is speaking with a patient right now so I can’t get his contact information which makes no sense. Not to mention, she seemed completely apathetic to my struggles during this whole conversation. Regardless, she mentioned she would put a note saying I’ve been without my medication for 2 weeks, so naturally, I thought there was NO WAY they would not fill my prescriptions in the next 2 business days. Well, it’s been 2 days and my prescriptions have STILL not been filled.Anyway, I’m writing this review to let others know that whoever runs that front desk is entirely incompetent. My experience with Dr. Sherk has been great, but I will be getting my treatment elsewhere from now on.
